Computer Networking

Computer network is a set of 2 or more computers connected to each other for the purpose of sharing data.

Networks can be broken down into 2 basic categories:

- Local Area Networks which spread across small geographic areas, usually a single home.

- Wide Area Networks which reach across cities and states. The Internet is basically the world's largest WAN that spreads across the whole world.
